As a principal, I'm often too busy to need anything but the WHAT and the HOW associated with school change. I like how the book focuses on practical advice to help plan for school change and create your own list of specific actions to be taken. It's an easy read and is very conversational in style. Reading the book felt as if I were talking directly with the author. It really is a "MUST HAVE" for teachers, leaders, and principals! You will not be disappointed.

Often, I am able to immediately apply the ideas in my school. Leading School Change com­partmentalizes management advice into nine valuable strategies for facing changes.One of the introductory points that I found interesting encourages school leaders to take a hard look at what might be the true concerns caused by a procedural, structural, or cultural transformation before making an assumption and acting in a manner that might cause further challenges. Ideas are provided for making first impressions positive, identifying the social status of different types of employees, and finding ways to con­nect with every­one, from the newbies on staff to the potential burnouts.This book guides readers through the pro­cess of reducing resistance to change, using emotions to encourage buy-in, and moving on to an action-based approach. Each essay is a different real life example that reminds you to cherish each part of your life and shows you the best ways to deal with the normal difficulties and challenges that we all face. For example, most of us have a strained or broken relationship that could be mended by using the simple words: “Please let me say I’m sorry. It was my fault”. When you are temporarily out of work and looking for a job, you can turn that negative into a positive by using your extra free time to "pursue that passion you had before work interfered”.The essays are about family life and the relationship between kids, parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles – and it reminds you to be “present in the moment” and to find joy in simple activities. By Dan Mitton (Originally reviewed for Love Bytes Same Sex Book Reviews.)I’ll go on record as saying I’ve always liked most everything I’ve read by this author. This one though was towards the lower end of my like chart. There was really no warning that this book was a set-back to tell the story of Declan and Ryder, much of the story taking place before where book three ended. I was totally confused when Traylon all of sudden showed back up. I was like, what the hell? He’s dead. Then I realized it was a side story to explain the background of the two bears who were exiled because of Traylon and Oberon’s machinations.So then I started understanding more about what was going on, but this book still didn’t seem quite on par with the previous three in the series. I still liked it, just not as much.Declan and Ryder have been exiled from Bear Mountain because of Traylon and Oberon. As we knew from the previous book, Traylon and Oberon have been behind most of the bad stuff happening on Bear Mountain for years. When Gage, the Omega who Declan and Ryder recognize is their mate, was attacked, the only bears he saw that night were Declan and Ryder. Traylon convinced him they were his attackers, and Gregor, Declan’s dad and the Alpha of the pack, had little he could do other than to exile him. Ryder wasn’t exiled, but he went with his brother bear into exile.Now they are back, and it is just in time for the events near the end of book three. What will happen after the fateful night that Gregor was killed?Hopefully I didn’t give too many spoilers. This was a hard review to write, because book 3 is a total spoiler for book 4. The reader already knows almost all of what happens in this book, and that was why I didn’t really care for it much. Oh well, you can’t please everyone all the time, and this was my time not to be as pleased. I’m off to read another book by the same author in another series. I’m expecting to be much happier with that one! I’m going to leave this one with a rating of 3.0 out of 5.0 stars because of the massive overlap of stories.

He wanted to be who he was and love who he wanted and needed. Fate stepped in, and in the end he was forced to be the leader he was meant to be, and found his mates, he's heart and soul with Ryder and Gage. The sexual sensual chemistry between these three was something fierce. SMOKING HOT!!! I'm happy they found the love, happiness and complete unconditional love for each otherI loved thislove this series, and can not wait for moreAMAZING

I appreciated her back story to the point I now have a soft spot for her.Madam was a true boss. She ran a tight ship at the house of Stevens. The Dominatrix queen was catered to by any and everyone she felt like at the time including her husband, the butler.Madam and the Butler didn't have a normal marriage. Actually they were just married on paper. Madam found interest in a professional chef named Niko. Who had her ready to give up her life style.The butler didn't appreciate their relationship or the way Madam M was treating him. He thought that after all the years he would eventually share a room with her, and be treated as her husband. The more the butler realized things were never going to go his way, he came up with a plan that involved Madam's best friend, Azalea. This plan will have Madam at her worse. Get your copy to find out how it all goes down.I can't wait for the next book I won't be at ease until I find out what happens next.

TAMED BY THUG LOVE By deenice Madam M, a woman who was accustomed to giving orders was now at the mercy of her vindictive husband, the butler. inadvertently, Madam is to blamed for the situation that she found her self in. Nico just stepped on the scene and changed the game. Madam M became so vulnerable by that good thug love and lost track on what was going on in her home.Anyone who has read No Boundaries and Scandalicious will enjoy this book. I can definitely see a part two, just hope it doesn't take too long.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. I'm estimating it took me 4 hours... By olliesmom ...start to finish to devour this book. Because I know Lisa it was particularly meaningful to see her account of her life in print and be able to picture the locales and people she talked about. The book is fascinating in subject matter, efficiently portrayed, funny and satisfying. Lisa is talented and engaging and admirable. My only complaint is the interesting stuff I know she left out. I'm hoping there is a book 2 in the future because I want more.

By Michele Madison Knowing the author and having been a guinea pig, did not prepare me for the in depth look into not only the world of the tattoo school but into the personnel lives of 2 people I admire greatly. I couldn't put it down. So interesting and well written. Makes you really stop and think about our freedoms, our passions, our trials, and most of all our faith that helps us make it through it all.

I rewrote this review several times because I got caught up in how upset this book made me at the whole community who did not support this very creative woman. The book talks about subjects most will identify with, family, friends, Faith and dreams. However some dreams lie between happy endings and nightmares.This is a reality based nightmare about the world of Tattooing, Television, entrepreneurship and all the rest of the stuff you put in this soup called "In Living Ink". I think the author did a great job at showing the depth and difficulties of starting a whole new business concept and the problems, you never could've seen coming from the entertainment world. Hands down this book earns 5 stars due to the bravery of the author. Although I give this 5 stars I feel this is an open end, that's a good thing. I can't wait to read her next book.

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Great inspirational story! By Shannon I read this book over about three days. I couldn't put it down. I recommend that everyone should read this along with Looking Up. Coach Briles not only talks the talk, he walks the walk! He has truly changed football. I grew up in the same small town that Coach Briles did and graduated from Rule High School. Even with his busy schedule Coach Briles still takes the time to do someone a favor that he didn't have to do. He did that for me earlier this year and I will not forget it! Thanks Coach!

Using religion to do right from wrong and treat people with dignity. Sounds great to sell books. In real life he sold his soul to win games by covering up numerous sex abuses commited by his players.
