The photographs on the cover show the right side of Lee Oswald's face (from a 1959 passport photo of 'Lee Harvey Oswald') and the left side of the face of 'Harvey Oswald' (from his Dallas booking photo in 1963), revealing that these were two different men! The John F. Kennedy assassination is a cold case murder, which the Dallas District Attorney’s office has failed to investigate for the past fifty-two years, although much evidence has been uncovered by citizen investigators, although Dallas has sole jurisdiction over the murder, and although there is no statute of limitation on murder. The key to JFK’s assassination is not the guilt of Lee Oswald, a CIA contract agent – he was guilty of conspiracy, treason and murder – but the innocence of ‘Harvey Oswald,’ an employee of the Texas School Book Depository and an agent of the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), the CIA and the FBI, who was murdered by Jack Ruby. Harvey’s innocence demonstrates that there indeed was a conspiracy to murder John Fitzgerald Kennedy. There are 108 photographs/maps/floor plans, showing where everything took place on November 22 in Dallas, including a blowup of Harvey in the TSBD doorway, as well as a blowup of the face of the man in the “backyard photo,” clearly showing the picture was a forgery. There also are several photographs of two “Marguerite Oswalds” and two “Lee Harvey Oswalds,” revealing the doubles. Exposed also are the lies of Dallas police, the CIA (demonstrating that “Lee Harvey Oswald” never went to the Cuban Consulate and the Soviet Embassy in Mexico City), the FBI (showing ‘Harvey’ and family never lived on Neely Street in Dallas), the Warren Commission, which altered much testimony to comply with its “lone nut” assertion, as well as the lies of several witnesses. More than 300 sources, including many testimonies & affidavits, were consulted, as well as John Armstrong’s massive research project HARVEY AND LEE. One fact led to another, until a coherent picture began to emerge from the immense pile of puzzle pieces. That picture includes the background of Harvey as a juvenile immigrant fluent in Russian, and the creation of the second ‘Lee Harvey Oswald’ and the second ‘Marguerite Oswald.’ The picture continues with the recruitment of both Lee Oswald and Harvey Oswald by the ONI and the CIA, followed by Harvey’s assumption of Lee’s identity, his ‘defection’ to Russia, and Lee’s involvement with the Cuban revolution and the CIA. The legend expands into New Orleans, where Harvey is “sheep-dipped” to seem like a fervent pro-Castro sympathizer and where he begins to be sucked into the Kennedy assassination plot by his renegade CIA handler. Finally, unable to control his destiny, he winds up on the steps of the Dallas School Book Depository, while Lee Oswald is inside on the sixth floor shooting at the president. Harvey’s whereabouts on November 22, 1963 are tracked minute by minute, showing that he could not have been where the Warren Commission claimed he was. In the end, of course, Harvey was murdered by the same cabal that killed JFK and was falsely accused by the Warren Commission, the FBI, and the CIA of being a killer and traitor, when it was his accusers who were the killers and traitors. Some previously undisclosed conspirators in the Texas School Book Depository also are revealed. 7 of 8 people found the following review helpful. really interesting By Paul Schulte This book does a very good job reconciling the weird stories of Mexico City and New Orleans which created an "unbelievable" Oswald who was simply too many characters in one person. And it explains better than any other book how the events of November were played out with two oswalds. As a result almost all of the inconsistencies are reconciled. Fascinating

Where the analysis of the Kennedy murder finally comes to rest still remains unclear. However, this account of intelligence duplicity is sure to be an important part of the final analysis.

Review Andy Johnson has written a unique professional text, unique because this may be the first American book to discuss reading difficulties from a top-down perspective. What Johnson does, quite eloquently, is to argue the limitations of the bottom-up perspective for developing readers. On the other hand, Johnson presents the research supporting a top-down perspective, especially for developing readers who read with understanding. About the Author Dr. Andy Johnson was a 1976 graduate of Grantsburg High School in Grantsburg, Wisconsin.  He attended the University of Wisconsin, River Falls where he graduated with a B.S. degree in Music and Speech-Communication.  After earning elementary teaching licensure, he taught 2nd grade in River Falls, Wisconsin from 1983-1986.   He went on to teach in elementary schools in the Twin Cities area and also spent three years working in the Grantsburg School District as A 5th grade teacher and the Gifted Education Coordinator.

He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in Literacy Education in 1997.  He is currently working at Minnesota State University, Mankato as a professor of literacy in the Department of Special Education where he specializes in literacy instruction for students with reading difficulties.  He is the author of 10 books and numerous academic articles related to literacy, learning, teacher development, and the human condition. 

He lives in North Mankato with his wife, Dr. Nancy Fitzsimons and his dogs Mickey and Emmet.

By Amazon Customer Rich Froning: CrossFit Champion A biographyI enjoyed reading about Rich Froning but only for a little while. It was interesting reading about his family and background and how he grew up and the book is at its best when Mr. Froning takes you through the games and competitions themselves.It was not what I was expecting. There is nothing in this book about learning to be come a better athlete (mentally or physically) or a better CrossFit(er). In short, this is a very short biography with a lot of Born Again Christian themes.Froning is a two time CrossFit Games Champion. He has beaten a lot of other people in some tough events. There is nothing detailed in the book about how he trains or what he eats. Just general stuff like:"I work out five times a day...based on how I feel...I eat what a feel like...""I follow the Forrest Gump diet plan: when I'm hungry, I eat; when I'm thirsty, I drink.""To get better at CrossFit do more CrossFit".Yes, you have to push yourself beyond your mental barriers but how does Rich Froning do that? What does It Take for Rich Froning to do that over the last 2-4 years? That's what I was expecting based on the title and the reason I bought the book in the first place.

Rich chronicles his rapid rise to success in the CrossFit world, sharing his story from life on the farm to back-to-back "World's Fittest Man" titles. Reading this book is like sitting down with Rich over a cup of coffee. Or, more likely, over a protein shake after a WOD. (workout-of-the-day)Every time I read a portion of the book, I wanted to throw it down and start working harder. Rich's work ethic and passion are infectious.Equally infectious is Rich's faith.** It's genuine, and you see it laid bare in this book as he does battle against his own pride. I found his faith refreshing, bold, and courageous.The big question Rich wrestles with throughout the book is, "What legacy am I going to leave when I die?"Hopefully you're asking something similar.For Rich, faith and fitness go hand-in-hand. I've found the same to be true, which is why the book resonated so well with me. When I'm disciplined with my body, I find myself more disciplined spiritually.This is a great summer read. And a great read just in time for this year's CrossFit Games, as Rich looks to become the three-time champion for this sport.

Keep yout expectations low - writing is dull and just 'plain vanilla' By Quincy I admire the man and his story is very interesting... but his writing is not very interesting or captivating. It is rather shallow and does not make me feel like I know more about him - I do know his story but not HIM.And that is okay - I wish him best of luck and he is an inspiration to many, and I hope he continues to change lives.... But this book left me feeling unfulfilled. Rich isn't a good story teller or a writer, so keep your expectations low.The man might be 5 stars, but the book is 2-3 star territory. If he put as much effort into writing a compelling and colorful story as he does into multiple daily workouts, it would likely come out with a higher rating.

The BOOK VIRGINIA'S MONROE HISTORIC SITES DIDN'T WANT YOU TO READ...March 4, 2017 will be the two-hundredth anniversary of the inauguration of one of our most misunderstood presidents, James Monroe. He had a checkered career. Best known today for his Monroe Doctrine, alas the average American does not know the real James Monroe and mistakes him for the other James--Madison. Yet once, everyone either admired or hated him; there was no middle ground. Today he is mostly forgotten except by two camps of historians: Virginians (who view him as Jefferson's dimwitted protege) and Tennesseans (who loathe him as Jackson's wily evil boss). How can two camps have such discordant views of the same man? After his first inauguration as President, Monroe went on to have a very successful presidency. Despite his administrative success, he was determined to thwart the ambitions of a new rival--Andrew Jackson. Despite successes in uniting the two existing political parties, establishing the Compromise of 1820, proclaiming the Monroe Doctrine, and annexing Florida--Monroe attempted to blame General Jackson for his illegal invasion of that Spanish colony which he had secretly authorized and spent the rest of his life denying. As a result, he was attacked by both Jackson and his henchman, Van Buren. At the same time, Monroe was near bankruptcy due to unpaid past foreign service (and frankly, mismanagement of personal finances), so he had to curb his criticism of his successors' administrations while he was requesting reimbursement from the Jacksonian-controlled Congress. In this state, he died at his daughter's home in New York and was quickly buried there--without getting his just due of political fame. More than 25 years later-when all his enemies were dead- and just before the Civil War broke that he had tried to avoid, Virginia finally reclaimed his body and reburied him with honors in Richmond. Still, Jackson prevailed over him in the end and received the greater lion's share from history. This research attempts to show that Monroe deserves better than he has received--despite still having to share the stage with Jackson. Vol 2. is this story.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Highly Enjoyable Biography of James Monroe By Idolater I've finished Volume 2 of Brockman's biography of James Monroe. I enjoyed this second volume more than the first, primarily because we get a sense of James Monroe's overall place in history. The second volume reads more like a "life and times" style of biography. Brockman provides interesting details about Monroe's presidency that are unknown to most Americans. Monroe's grand tour at the beginning of his first term and his efforts to create a non-partisan one-party republic were illuminated with interesting detail. Brockman also provides significant details on Monroe's relatiionships with contemporaries--men such as Jackson and Van Buren are illuminated with captivating detail. Unfortunately, highly distracting errors in punctuation and editing prevent this work from achieving a five-star rating. Overall, this is a highly enjoyable biography of a lesser-known American President as well as an excellent history of the Jacksonian era in our history.

Very simply written, a compelling story on a subject matter not much written about. A midwest young woman falls in love with and marries a Chinese student studying at an American University at a time when many wealthy Asian families sent their chikdren to America for an education. During an age when inter-racial marriages were taboo, this story tells of her struggles with discrimination and her ultimate adaptation and acceptance as a Chinese wife.

The author must have been quite worldly in her time. Well worth the kindle purchase.

It needs to b corrected and edited. I liked the story for it's context. I was looking to see if I could find any similarities in her marriage and mine. I too am married to a Chinese man. But this story was written many years before I was born! But still found it interesting, none the less.

I was nervous, I was excited, I was sad, I was happy. I mean, 'cause really, I laid claim to that Dragon a long, long time ago. It was a weird mix of emotions... eh, anyway, enough about that.Please, please, please, for the love of all things paranormal and sexy, go read the other books in this series. Do not even attempt to read the dragon until you've read the rest. Go. Now. You'll thank me later.I can pretty much do this is one sentence: This freaking book was amazing!But I'm sure there are some who would like more words, so I'll try.This one was a two-fer. We got a BONUS! Not only do we get Drake and Delia, but we get Sander and Nastia. OhMyGoodness! I will tell you right now, be very careful where you read, it's a bit embarrassing to think you may have to go to the bathroom and umm... sort yourself out when you're at work.Sander and Nastia are one hot duo and they burn it down. Literally.Drake and Delia, my heart can't take it. So much emotion with these two and so much frustration. I was ready to just throw them in a room together and to hell with the consequences. And when it finally happened, it was amazing. It was beautiful, and I'm a fan of dragons, so I loved every minute I got with these two.Aside from amazing couples with off the charts chemistry and hot as hell sexy times, there is the ongoing storyline. Hello, Hades! I've got my eyes on you. Something hinky is going down in the realms, and I'm kind of in awe at where things are headed. I got to the end and I wanted more... who am I kidding, I always want more.Setta likes to leave you hanging on the edge of your seat, just waiting for the next book. And, she does it every freaking time.I can't say enough good things about this series. It gets better and better as you go along. Setta sets a precedent with every book she writes in this series. In each subsequent book she ups the ante. I'm not sure where things will go from here. If you saw my series review the other week you know this series started rocky for me but it really sucked me in, it is such an addictive series and now I'm cursing the fact that I have to wait for more. Especially since I inhaled this book, I was so excited to find out how Drake and Delia were going to be together and also Sander and Nastia get over themselves and finally finish the bonding. Another thing I love the warnings Setta Jay gives at the beginning of the books, always very amusing. This is a series where it is best if you have read the others first.Apollo has been wakened and now he's missing again, only thing time he was taken by an unknown enemy with powerful weapons. Drake's only solution to this problem is to wake up Hades. We see more of Pothos in this book as well since he is playing his father's keeper trying to find out everything Hades might know about the unknown enemy. Hades knows something he just isn't willing to tell yet. Luckily Nastia has the power to get into people's minds without them knowing and helps find the truth. Meanwhile the mating bond between Delia and Drake is getting stronger but the two animals she has thanks to the forced bonding Cyril did, she is constantly at war with herself. When it gets worse Hades comes in and helps Delia so Drake and her can finish the bonding and even has an idea on how to get rid of the drug induced pheromone.They finally do figure out who was behind the kidnapping of Apollo and just what they are up against and a deep dark secret Hades never told Pothos. Nastia was hurt bad in the last book when she was hit by the unknown enemy's weapon now Tasha is pushing her to finish the bonding so she can gain the immunity that Sander has, and they do end up burning up the bed sheets, literally. Nastia wasn't the only one hurt in the last book Sacha, Bastian's adoptive mother, was hurt and has been unconscious since but ummm... that's for the next book. It's not every book that has me laughing maniacally at the end, hell I'm still laughing about it now I can't wait.Overall, this was another good one for the series, I loved the joining of Drake and Delia's bonding and the amusing bonding of Nastia and Sander. I look forward to the upcoming books especially Sirena's.

This has become one of my favorite series and is seriously not to be missed so before even opening up this book read the series in order as the storylines and characters all build upon each other. Each book is a gift you'll be giving to yourself so get started with Ecstasy Unbound.I have been eagerly and not so patiently awaiting this particular book as it is Drake's story. Drake is not only a dragon shifter he is also the leader of The Guardians, given this enormous responsibility by The Creators. The creators have put the Gods (from Greek mythology) to sleep saving the world from those that were evil and abusing their powers. Even the "good" gods were sent into hibernation, so the Creators built an army of Guardians to keep watch over their world, the humans and creatures that inhabit it. In addition there has been a separate realm created for the immortal beings and those with " special powers".Drake as head of the Guardians is the most powerful, he must be not only be a strong leader but intelligent, loyal, dedicated making this his highest priority. His mate Delia will need to be extraordinary but she had been taken hostage by evil forces and now faces an uphill struggle. On the brink of insanity Delia seems beyond help as she battles the results of the torture she was forced to endure, and the curses she will be unable to live with.Amidst their mating story there is the continuation of the search for Apolllo, and the awakening of Hades to help in locating the evil God. Hades in this realm is not the evil being we are used to (although he does have his vices) but also proves quite useful, very entertaining, hot and sexy,and is very doting father to his son Pothos.I love how the secondary characters have significant storylines throughout all the books. In SE we are also treated to the mating dance of Sander and Nastia that began in the last book. They are one Hot couple literally and figuratively, even though they both try to play at being somewhat hip and cool.All the couples have amazing chemistry, each of them enhancing their mates powers after they are fully mated. This is one series where all the females are as kickass as the alpha males, no whiny heroines here. I love the large diversity of well developed beings and creatures, there is even a glossary at the beginning of each book.Setta Jay is an incredibly talented and exceptional writer. She is a master at weaving several layers of plots and themes into an enthralling series that has you turning pages into the wee hours of the morning. The world building alone is mesmerizing and detailed pulling the reader in and holding you there her descriptions engaging your senses.This series has so many of my favorite elements, mythology, paranormal and magic, action packed excitement and roller coaster thrills, the deepest of loves and commitments, it engages the reader on all levels, and speaking of engaging, the books are Ten "O" s of mindblowing hot, romantic, erotic, sensual and of course Hades ups the heat index even higher.Just as I think the series is coming to a climax the plots thickens,new realms, worlds, and characters appear ,more storylines fantastically pop up and start to weave their way into the series. Love the twist at the end, gratifying HEA's and a bit of a cliffhanger at the end.Will anxiously be waiting for The Guardians story to continue.
