The young man with whom Princess Mishaal fell in love was a young Saudi, the dear friend of my children's father. He was a Muslim like everyone else, may Allah have mercy on his soul. On the internet, anyone can say anything. Way overpriced for the number of pages and the fact that it is tabloid junk.

The book beckoned me to read it again and again and I have read it more than 13 times. It’s fabulously written. It’s a very good insight into the ordeals of another culture and their way of living. Even with all the richness of the oil rich country, this book portrays how women in these countries are used, abused and discarded by men of their own society. Women are used as objects of desire and a tool to bear children.I am impressed with this book and have already checked if the author has written anything similar.

Need stronger women By CG Schroder I should have known these stories were going to be weird...Each one has a disclaimer at the beginning that the men never touch each other sexually. I do like when the men touch in my erotica but it is not necessary. I probably would have not even thought about it being a thing that was missing in the books if they did not state it. But the fact that you have to state that the men don't touch each other to enjoy it...Maybe you should not be reading about M/F/M threesomes.I wanted to like this book, which is actually three novellas in one, but it just did not do it for me. Summary: Apocalyptic America, after a series of disasters, has no central government and very few women left. Most all women are slaves in brothels or kept women by scary men. We follow three sets of two men who end up with a women through different means. But it really is just about the sex. Now I love a good erotic book and I am OK with PWP. But these were just bad. The drama was stupid and over before it began. The men talked like pigs the entire time. (I am sorry, but if a man is trying to just stay alive in a wasteland I really don't think they would talk about sex so much with each other when they are not getting it) The women were so useless. I guess I understand the first two with their background being a little self conscious and scared but they did not ever get any better. If a women was actually out living by their hands off the land, I think they would learn how to fight and take care of themselves. The third one was more promising as the women had been on her own for a while before the men came along but she still gave up really fast. Two of these women were suppose to be victims, sexually used and abused by other men, and I feel they fell into bed with these new men awfully fast.Spoiler!......It was like all three stories were just leading up to double penetration of the girl. I mean I like a little anal but they don't talk about it and just spring it on her, surprise! And in every story the first time anal was also the first time double penetration which would just hurt. :(

Each novella is set in the Border Lands, at a time when the world as we know it has ceased to exist and where women are in short supply. As a consequence of the general lawlessness that pervades society and their scarcity, women are regarded as chattels by many and some are kept as slaves. All men are not bad however, and I'm pleased to say that the heroes in this collection are the good guys! I thoroughly enjoyed each romance and also learning about the futuristic society the tales are set in. The collection certainly illustrates the pleasures to be had by having two men available to bring the heroine to the heights of ecstasy!Each tale takes a different take on the dynamics of a mfm ménage before their HEA is reached. Highly recommended if you are looking to indulge in some fun erotic reads!Belonging to Them #1In Belonging to Them, Heather, escaping captivity, takes refuge with brothers Brandon and Bolton. The brothers are ripped and handsome and I loved it that they were both committed to gaining her trust and putting her at ease. Whereas Bolton makes no secret that he cares deeply for Heather and wants a loving relationship with her, Brandon appears surly and increasingly standoffish, refusing to acknowledge he cares and believing that Heather prefers his brother above him. I really felt for him as he has his reasons for acting in that way. Heather loves both brothers but will a schism develops between Heather and Bolton and Brandon on the other side? It takes nearly losing Heather before the stubborn Brandon realises his mistake, but will she forgive him? This story was the first I had read by the author and I loved the scorching and intense love-making scenes, which leave nothing to the imagination!A Home with Them #2In At Home with Them, we meet Jessie, rescued by Wyatt and Kent, when she was a teenager. The men have acted as her protectors for so long but Jessie wants a lot more! The brothers begin to see her as a woman and are committed to protecting her, taking her out of the city where they fear she will be threatened by other men, to the Border Lands. Kent, the younger brother is certain that he wants to commit to Jessie, but Wyatt is afraid that his feelings for her are little more than lust and is reticent. He also believes that Jessie does not deserve to be shared. However, Jessie is certain that she wants both men and goes all out to seduce them both. I waited with bated breath to see whether the stubborn Wyatt would succumb to her advances! Once again here are some tantalizing and scorching scenes between the two heroes and their heroine which I really enjoyed.Their Border Lands Temptress #3In Their Border Lands Temptress Ronnie, who has been successfully living on her own since escaping from an abusive relationship, finds that she needs their help and protection when she is involved in an accident. I really felt for Ronnie as she is initially skittish and distrustful around the men due to her abusive past and I loved how sensitive the men were to her fears. Both Brice and Garrett are attracted to her and know that without protection no matter how independent Ronnie is, she is vulnerable to being taken by men who only want to possess her body. There is a lot of tension in this tale as Ronnie has to give her trust and Brice and Garrett, long time friends, have to decide if they are willing to settle down before danger threatens Ronnie and it is too late. Please note, a copy of this book was given to me by the author for the purpose of a fair and honest review.

The premise is one I have seen written about time and time again but often don't enjoy reading. I'm not sure what about this series captured my attention. I liked that the women were surprises to the men. I think the idea of a lawless frontier where it is almost necessary for women to be cherished and protected by multiple men an excellent way for the author to write this type of story. It will not become a classic but it will give a reader several hours of enjoyment. Multiple hot sexy men and strong women... What's not to like!

Al Lewis was best known as Grandpa Munster, but he was so much more -- a walking history of American show business who was devoted to liberal causes, teenaged basketball and many other surprising passions. Karen Lewis' memoir of their lives together pulls back the curtain on the public and private Lewis, and shows us what a rich, entertaining, infuriating, committed, fully-formed human being he was. They truly don't make them like that anymore.

I enjoyed it so much I plan to read it again, and soon. Most intriguing was the mix of show business, politics and humor, all built around a truly tender love story, with behind-the-scenes photographs and a handsome cover by Ernie Fosselius. Five stars!

9 of 10 people found the following review helpful. Selfish characters By S. Brown Argh....I HATED Emma in this one. She did not deserve Galen!!!! All he ever does is think of her and what she wants. Was even willing to give up his entire way of life to be with her. And when he expresses reservations and admits to what he really wants and she's like you really expect me to do that blah blag blah. And on top of that she betrays him and he forgives her. Unbelievable!!!!! I loved this series. But this was not how I wanted the series to end! Emma was ridiculously selfish and inconsiderate. Truthfully she always has been but this was it for me. I didn't mind so much in the previous books but this was too much. Ruined my view of perfectly decent relationship with that ridiculous unexpected and unwanted factor(s). This get two stars since it was most certainly not a pleasant read.

Better conclusion that I was expecting By Gabbie Why I Picked It UpI loved the first two novels in this trilogy so I had to see the conclusion to Galen and Emma’s story.PlotThis novel picks up a little bit after the last one. Emma and Galen travel to the town of Neptune where they discover a town where Syrena and Half-Bloods live in harmony with humans and swim in freshwater. While Emma feels a part of the little town, Galen hates it. After an argument, Galen leaves to tell Grom about the city and is kidnapped. Meanwhile, Emma stays and begins getting closer to a Half-Blood, Reed, until they get themselves into trouble as well.I enjoyed this novel even better than the others. The characters really got themselves into some real predicaments. There was never a lack of anything happening. The point of view alternated between Emma’s first person and Galen’s third person so we got to see both events progressing at the same time. The thing I liked best about this novel was that there wasn’t just one evil villain—there were two! This kept me on my toes trying to figure out exactly what was going on.Leading LadyEmma was definitely more relaxed at points in this novel. She finally found somewhere where she fit in and you could see the wonders it did for her. She was just as strong and brave in this novel even though she wasn’t much the hero in this novel like the previous one. She did get herself out of some sticky situations though. Classic to the personality we saw in the previous novels, Emma was snarky and funny and sarcastic. I really love her character.Leading MaleGalen was constantly in sticky situations—once with each other the evil villains and once with Emma. He just couldn’t catch a break! His chapters were my favorite to read because I was guaranteed action with a snarky Galen. He was protective in this novel and we also saw some jealousy. It was endearing to see because we didn’t see much of it in the other novels because there was never competition for Emma’s affections. But that competition just made Galen because even more swoon-worthy.Reed was the third point to the love triangle. View Spoiler » I did enjoy Reed’s character though. He was what Galen wasn’t—funny, happy, and social. It was a nice contrast. And I have to admit—he was pretty swoony too.RomanceThe romance in this novel was on the rocks. The big problem of land vs. water came to a head in this novel. By that, I mean Emma wanted to live on land and Galen wanted to live in the water. That was the main source of their tension. View Spoiler » The chemistry was there like in the other novels and I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of these two together. They just complemented each other very well.World BuildingWe see more of the Syrena history in this novel and I liked that we got one more in-depth look at this world that Banks created before having to say goodbye to it.ConclusionOf Neptune was a better conclusion to Emma and Galen’s story than I was expecting. It pains me to say goodbye to the characters, the romance, and the story.

I gave the first book - Of Poseidon - a three-star ratting, the second one - Of Triton - a four-star ratting, so I expected this one to be even better. Really there wasn't much to screw up, but she did!Emma and Galen's romance seemed to have grown and mature, and all of a sudden they are two 12 year-olds again! I know, I know, they are young, what did I expect? I remember being 19, and I was pretty stupid and egotistical too. But I expect my heros and heroins to be a little wiser and more congruent than I was, am I right? After all, aren't books supposed to teach you how to be a better you?And I definitely expect the authors I praise to know better than to throw a love triangle at our main characters out of the blue for - what it seemed to me - no better reason then "ops, I forgot to put a love triangle in there somewhere, how will my readers know their love is true if it's not challenged? How will I justify binding them together for the rest of their lives?"On top of that, some of the things I really liked about the plot, the secondary characters and Banks' writing style have also decayed. For starters, the whole plot seemed like an after thought - and a poorly convincing one at that. Why would Emma's grandfather send her alone to Neptune? How did he not see what could happen? And that was just the beginning of the "Why-would"s of this book. I won't say anymore because I don't want to give any spoilers, but seriously, I was regretting this whole trilogy around chapter eight! My favorite secondary characters (like Raina, for instance) are barely there - replaced by other poorly crafted ones, like Reed. And what was a fast paced, funny story became slow, redundant and predictable.All in all, I wouldn't read this trilogy if I were any older than 16 years old and looking for a (very) light read.

The author has used this avenue to satirize the system and the influential. She exposed the suffering of a mother on her child and her die hard spirit. I eagerly anticipated this novel and truly it worth waiting for. Kudos to Jeanne, this is truly a masterpiece, a fascinating and well concluded story.

The not so impartial "rule of law" in the UK and its devasting impact on a mother and son By Beatrix Let me start by saying I am a lawyer, but a corporate lawyer rather than one with any experience in family law. The eloquent and gripping account set forth in this novel was a true eye opener for me, in reading about how a judge may decide on a child's fate merely on the "balance of probabilities" rather than an evidence based trial beyond reasonable doubt. I have recommended this book to both friends and legal colleagues, for its beautifully written portrayal of a mother's anguish struggling for years in a hostile legal labyrinth. Highly affecting, but vitally, also very thought provoking.

By Linda W Loving a man that doesn't love you in return is like tearing your heart from your chest and leaving it exposed to die. Bobbie is in so deep she can't see any alternative than to bare her soul and hope for the best.Rook is so hardened from his past that he doesn't let anything in. Nothing will thaw his exterior and get to his heart. He isn't deserving of anything because of the things he's done and he's not open to having a constant in his life. That's not for him. At least that's the bs he keeps spouting.There is one girl he's singled out for only himself. She's one girl that at the club and no one is going to touch her. She is his alone to play with and command, but other than that he's drawn a big heavy line that's not to be crossed. In reality she's everything to him and he's going to keep her close and only for him.Bobbie has finally gotten the nerve to tell Rook she loves him when she walks in on a compromising situation. She pulls back and resigns herself that she will never be more than a sweet butt, just a play toy and not someone worthy of a man's love.Rook's wake up call is slow to surface but when it does he realizes he has a very rough road ahead of him to win Bobbie.I loved this book. I love watching a strong man struggle and fight his emotions for a woman. Rook's struggle showed him how deeply he felt for Bobbie and how he would stop at nothing to keep her.Excellent addition to the series!

Bobbie use to be a sweet-butt until Rook took control and told her only him. Of course he's a tough alpha biker and won't put a label on their relationship. Eventually Bobbie gets tired of this song and dance. Can Rook give up his control and admit he wants Bobbie for his old-lady or will he destroy any chance at it? Rook's past comes calling and this maybe the wake up call he needs but is it too late? Rook is one of The Brothers of Menace MC harder bikers and doesn't show or deal with feelings. He's a Dom 24/7. But man is he super hot in the bedroom. I'd let him tell me what to do. Bobbie is one lucky girl. Jenika Snow did a great job with this story because Bobbie and Rook are such different characters than the others in this series. They are unique and there's lots of hot bedroom action and plenty of excitement to keep the reader entertained.

By Rhonda I think this has been my favorite book in this series so far> Yes, Rook is a complete ass to Bobbi, but he does realize it and tries to make amends. I also wanted to smack Bobbi around a time or two but they finally get their act together. Of course, like in all of Jenika's book, the danger is far from over and Rook must fight to save her. You will just have to get the book and read it to find out. Another great book and I love the lead in to the next book.
