About the Author Annie Besant is a children's author, poet and editor based in Chennai. An avid reader, she discovered that she too could shape words to create new and exciting worlds. Since then, she has been creating ink and paper portals for children to discover. Her picture books for young children include Mala's Silver Anklets, When I Grow Up, Sam's Christmas Present and Sammy Cricket Gets Into Trouble. Her short story 'Magic' appeared in The Puffin Book of Magic for 8-year-olds. Emma Bigton and the Sphinx, her first full-length book for older children, will be published by Scholastic.

Had I not known what a useful and unique book this is By Garnet Gilmore It is a shame that Amazon does not have a means to separate review issues that do not apply to a book's content from those that do. Had I not known what a useful and unique book this is, having seen it presented on YouTube by a representative of the Theosophical Society, and so been curious when I saw only a single review and it a one-star reader review (having come to Amazon to buy it after having seen the YouTube presentation) there may not have been a comment on its content for a long time if ever.The book is, for me, somewhat difficult--part of its being unique--and so maybe this one-star obstacle is meant-to-be.Still, this kind of difficulty--for the purchaser who wrote the review and for someone looking for information about whether or not to buy it--is a black mark on Amazon, who might otherwise shine brightly for providing this book for sale.Maybe a two line review process--one for Amazon (if you dare, Amazon), and one for the product.

By Fabio Pellegrino It was deceiving to know that this book cannot be read, because the text was scanned in bad resolution and only a half page can be seen on iPad or iPhone (on Kindle Reader). There is no full page scanned, only half pages.Disgusting.
