3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Terrible reproduction of a classic book! By O Lee I absolutely love this book, in its classic form. But this reproduction of it is awful. It is a cheap imitation of the original without much care apparently having gone into it. Specifically, there are many pages with only 2/3 printing on them before it moves on to the next page (and I'm not talking about the end of a chapter!). It does not include the endpaper maps that came in the original which are EXTREMELY valuable to look at as the author talks about his hikes and fishing treks throughout the Cascade and Wallowa Mountains. There is a picture of the author in the original that is not included here either.Worst of all, it looks as though every page of this reprint is simply a photocopy of the original. And a bad photocopy at that. It looks like a copy of a copy of a copy in places with pieces of letters missing or misshapen.Unfortunately, I do not know if there is a better reproduction of this classic and enjoyable book, but I would stay away from this reprint.
