Townley Joyce Lovely is a wonderful storyteller, bringing the reader on her journey through war-torn Liverpool, through her teen years and the adversities she faces as she ventures forth in her adult years. I loved reading this book and found it difficult to put it aside for more than a few minutes. A story well told, a life courageously lived, I await Joyce's next volume. It was written extremely well to the point you didn't want to put it down. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone.
