This book is an attempt to appraise the reasons behind man’s behavior. It is not in any way a condemnation of the nature of man. It is rather an explanation of his action, his inaction and sometimes his silence or passivity. When things happen or do not happen, there are explanations for why they have or have not happened. This book is written in very simple language in order to reach out to the widest readership.. Although I have used examples from the Bible, the book cuts across denominational and religious barriers. It also cuts across social, political, and cultural barriers. It is therefore a book for all people and for all seasons. While there is one main link throughout the book, each chapter can be taken in isolation from the rest for its own value. You can read through all its pages in one evening. About the Author John Taiti Fodje was born in 1945 in Bali Nyonga in the North West Region of Cameroon. He holds a Graduate and a Post Graduate Teachers’ Diplomas from Ecole Normale Superieure - University of Yaounde, a M.Sc. (Econ) degree from the U.S. and a M. Ed degree from the Bamenda University of Science and Technology (BUST). He has been classroom teacher in many Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and High Schools in Cameroon. He has been Senior Master of Discipline in Cameroon College of Arts Science and Technology Bambili, Principal of Several Government Bilingual High Schools and has taught Development Economics at the Bamenda University of Science and Technology. He was Assistant Chief Examiner of Advanced Level Economics of the Cameroon GCE Board and recently worked for Counterpart International Inc. as Field Coordinator of the McGovern-Dole International Food for Education and Child Nutrition Program in Cameroon. He is married and father of many children.
