About the Author
Angel Knox has spent the past several years on a journey of faith, growth, and finding out what life is truly all about. Although wanting to write this story right after Hurricane Katrina happened, she realized there were more pieces to the puzzle; ten years later, this work is as it should be-complete. She believes that everyone has a special story, and by sharing and connecting with others, we can begin to heal and find peace and joy in our lives. Somewhat of a “spiritual” nomad, Angel hails from Folsom, California, but has spent her adult years in New Orleans, Louisiana; Charlotte, North Carolina; Charleston, South Carolina; and now in Sacramento, California. She is recently married, and she and her husband plan to continue writing and growing their family.

Well Done Bio By christopher bradford This is a very good biographical shortnovel of the author's 10 year journey afterHurricane Katrina, the ebbs and flow of dealing with life after a major shift in thetimeline of life.the author shows strength,perseverance ,faith in God and family,to get back to a place of peace within tocontinue what is before her.Easy read,didn't want to stop until the end.Love the analogies of the treesEnjoyed it immensely .Chris Bradford

A Colorful Story of Overcoming Adversity through Faith and Perserverance By MJM I pre-ordered my copy but when it came I was in the middle of studying for a licensing exam. I didn't really have time to read it so I sat the book on a table in anticipation of reading it after the test. A few days later I was taking a break from studying and decided to pick it up and just flip through a few pages. Well, by the next day, I had read the entire book! The story is a classic account of triumph and victory in the face of adversity, colorfully written. It is definitely an engaging read. If you are a Christian, you will admire the heart of this young woman and the foundation of faith that kept her strong. But even if you are not, you will nevertheless appreciate her strength and perseverance.
