It's kind of a hobby of mine.Some people try out a lot of different restaurants. Some collect shoes or hats. I read different erotica.But much like visiting restaurants or collecting hats, over a long enough period of time, the restaurants and the hats are start to appear the same.Then, when you enter another restaurant expecting "good" but end up with "great!" it really brightens your passion for the hobby.Risque Business was my great restaurant.It's the first title of Taylor Lang's that I've read and despite the title and the cover not being attention-grabbers, the story within elevates the genre far above many of the titles I've read in the past.The story of a long time married couple Tom and Steph, who are successful, in love and extremely honest with one another, find themselves in a bit of a passion-slump.A whirlwind trip to St Moritz and a passionate yet not-quite-scratching-the-right-itch impromptu threesome with a young Swiss man leads them on a path to find the right 3rd wheel as it were.The relationship between Tom and Steph is real and touching. Nothing too far fetched or over the top. I just love the confidence Steph has in what she truly wants sexually and how eager Tom is to please her. It shows true love and commitment seldom replicated in other erotic pieces.The action in the book is not the most graphic, but for me, sometimes less is indeed more. Overly descriptive sexual acts can just wear me down to the point where I'm more interested in what's going to happen after the action than the action itself. Everything was very well paced and I never felt the urge to skip ahead.Overall, I wasn't expecting to find such a solid tale when I first got this book. Being pleasantly surprized in this genre is pretty rare so for that alone I'd recommend anyone who enjoys legitimate relationship chemistry along with strong but not over the top sexual content.

I regularly read erotica, of all types, which has left me rather picky about the details and quality in this kind of work, but I wasn't disappointed on any page. The author's writing style is one of experience and knowledge, Mr. Lang was able to tell a delightful story and keep it engaging at all times. We follow the all too familiar case of Tom and Steph, a happy and successful couple, madly in love, no room for resentment, but their sex life has lost it's magic. Enter; a new and rewarding chapter in their lives that pushes their limits and has them taking risks, as they discover incredible new feelings and rekindle the old ones. The sex in this book is explicit, imaginative and compelling, with perfect use of language and many varieties of scenarios. I would recommend this book to couples, for foreplay and even to learn from, and to anyone else, who wants some saucy thrills this evening. 5 out of 5!

Boring Account of a Married Couple Trying to Spice Up Their Sex Life By Marvin Jones This is a story about a couple who find their sex life getting dull after 11 years of marriage. They are highly successful in their professional lives and find them very fulfilling. They still love one another, but they feel that the spark is gone, and are worried that in time even their love will disappear. But they resolve together to get the spark back. The wife suggests that for her adding another male to their sex would spice it up. She progressively expands the number, till she is being taken by untold numbers of men in the same evening. So from a twosome to a threesome to a g.ng b.ng. Should be hot. But definitely is not. This dullness is totally due to the writing style of Lang. The sex scenes have all the requisite elements, just none of the excitement, none of the heat. Lang does not pick up the pace of her writing as the sex is supposedly getting hotter. Her verbosity clogs up each sexual encounter. For the reader, the sex scenes become just excessively detailed accounts that move at the same pace as a polite dinner conversation. Sedate dinner conversation does not make for good erotica. While the husband and wife's behaviors have changed, their personalities do not. These two think just the same as before, have the same mores as before. We are not treated to a believable account of their being consumed by their new lifestyle of sex. In fact, it's hard to believe that the couple would really behave as they do, because nothing about their thoughts or morals seems at all sexy.
